a screenshot of netbeans and the nokia sdkHejs,

in case you’ve always wanted to develop your own mobile application, here’s a simple how-to-guide explaining how to [surprise] enable the Nokia Symbian S60  SDK in NetBeans, the world-famous IDE.

Here’s the article:

http://www.javamidlet.com/2008/07/12/how-to-install-the-nokia-s60-sdk-in-netbeans-for-j2me-development.html

Most downloads are given, but apperently nokia changed parts of their developers’ site, so the SDK itself may be found here: http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/ec866fab-4b76-49f6-b5a5-af0631419e9c/S60_All_in_One_SDKs.html (N.b. that you will obviously have to choose the correct version w/r/t your cellphone).

Good luck and keep it up,

Pohly

Edit: Apparently,  newer NetBeans-versions have Java ME not activated after installation and need to be enabled before NetBeans will install  the SDK. To enable Java ME, you’ll have to go via Tools >> Plugins >> Installed and activate it.

Juhu, zum zweiten. Er ist da und bald ist hier bestimmt auch Inhalt… :) Sei gespannt.
